Windows Alternatives (migrate to Elementary OS, Ubuntu Linux or ChromeOS Flex)
Do you want to upgrade from Windows XP or Windows 10 but don’t want to upgrade your PC. We can convert your system to run Ubuntu Linux Desktop. Includes LibreOffice, Firefox web browser, Thunderbird email, Music Players and thousands of free open source packages. We can optionally migrate your existing data to the new system.
Rate: $100 per machine plus any parts or special services required. Add $20 each way for pick-up and delivery. Add $50 for data transfer.
Website Design and Setup
Need a website for your small business. We can offer you a number of ideas and choices to get you on the road to success. Typically Aldersoft uses WordPress to develop new websites. WordPress is a strong, well established open-source product favoured by Web Developers globally. It also a large repository of themes and plugin extensions that provide established features such as Online Payments, Job Posting, and Application processing, Order/Invoice Management, Event Scheduling, etc. We are also open to other options. Rates: $500 for the basic setup of domain and hosting infrastructure. $20 per hour per basic page. Other items such as DIY website maintenance training, search engine optimization, online shopping, and payment, etc. dependent upon requirements. Larger projects will be dealt with on a proposal basis.
